ASMR-15 Sensation Subscale

This relates to emotional state and how they’re assessing ASMR. Some say ASMR feels unpleasant, others pleasant, and some say it feels strange.

ASMR-15 Affective Subscale

This relates to a clear physical and emotion change in arousal and appraisal. It connects to reducing stress, promoting sleep, and improving mood.


ASMR-15 Relaxation Subscale 

This relates to changes in perception and awareness. Some compare it to illicit or recreational drug experience; relaxation; and “brain orgasm.”
