Association between Sleep Terrors During Early Childhood and Development of Somnambulism Focusing on Age
Among children who had sleep terrors during early childhood, a substantial proportion (41.7%) continued to experience them from age 5 years onward. In contrast, only 16.5% of children without early sleep terrors started experiencing them at age 5 or older. The odds ratio for this difference was 3.61, highlighting a significant disparity.
