Association between Sleep Terrors During Early Childhood and Development of Somnambulism

Children who experienced sleep terrors during early childhood were more likely to develop somnambulism later on, compared to children who did not experience early childhood sleep terrors. Specifically, 34.4% of children with early childhood sleep terrors developed somnambulism, while only 21.7% of children without early sleep terrors did. The odds ratio (OR) for this association was 1.89, indicating an increased likelihood.
