Association for Psychological Science (APS)

The Association for Psychological Science (APS), established in 1988, is an organization focused on promoting the scientific aspect of psychology. It was formed due to disagreements between scientific and clinical psychologists within the American Psychological Association (APA). The APS's activities include publishing five research journals, as well as engaging in education and advocacy with funding agencies. While its membership is international, the majority of its members are based in the United States.
