Psychology Organizations for Ethnic and Racial Groups

In addition to broader organizations, there are several professional bodies in psychology focused on specific ethnic or racial groups. These organizations serve a dual purpose: they provide networking and collaboration platforms for professionals and are also committed to researching psychological and social issues relevant to their specific communities. Key examples include the National Latina/o Psychological Association (NLPA), the Asian American Psychological Association (AAPA), the Association of Black Psychologists (ABPsi), and the Society of Indian Psychologists (SIP).
