In the Juicebox protocol, the redemption bonding curve determines the amount of collateral (such as ETH) that token holders receive when redeeming their project tokens from the overflow pool. A lower bonding curve percentage penalizes early redemptions by giving them less collateral, which incentivizes holding and leaves more funds in the treasury for remaining members.

The Juicebox token issuance discount rate is a project setting that determines how quickly the number of project tokens issued per unit of ETH decreases. It rewards earlier contributors by giving them more tokens for the same amount of ETH than later contributors receive. The setting is configured when the project is created.

Benefits

Governance for Juicebox is an evolving process. Right now, it is aligned with the two week funding cycle. Every member of the community can create a proposal for all aspects of the business including payouts, protocol change, and multisig changes. After a proposal is created , there is two day discussion period in which changes to the proposals are allowed. After this, a Temperature Check is created. If a quorum is reached, there is another discussion period. Once this period is over, the proposal is sent to a final, on-chain vote on Snapshot. The amount of tokens a person has is used as their voting power. If the proposal passes, there is a 4 day period in which those on the multisig implement the proposal.
