Bond Yield

Bond yield refers to the return an investor realizes from a bond. While there are several ways to measure it, a key metric is the yield to maturity (YTM), which represents the total annualized return an investor can expect if they hold the bond until it matures, accounting for all future coupon payments and the repayment of the face value.
