Users can use the search feature to look to see if the node containing the immediate prerequisite information they need for the information they want to add to the map already exists. The user can also click through the links in the area they want to add the new information to see if the prerequisite already exists.

The search database allows users to perform a keyword search to locate information on the shared knowledge graph. Users can use this tool to quickly locate nodes.

1Cademy Search Database

The chatroom is where all 1Cademy users can communicate with one another across the entire platform. They can use it to link nodes for easy reference and post images and messages for all users to see.

The notification menu alerts users to the status of the nodes that they have proposed. If another user upvotes or downvotes a pending proposal or a node on the map, the creator of the node will receive a notification through the notification menu.

If a user proposes an edit to a node and it is not immediately accepted, the proposal will be sent to the pending proposals list.  Pending proposals within each tag can be found in the “Pending List” section of the sidebar on 1Cademy. To check the pending list for any node, click the pencil icon in the node footer and the list will show up in a sidebar under the heading “Pending Proposals.”

The leaderboard tracks users' contributions in their community tag and displays the order of weekly and all-time contributors based on reputation points. A detailed history of individual contributions can be accessed by clicking on each user in the leaderboard.

Notifications will appear here when a bookmarked node that a user has also marked as studied is updated so they can review the changes and mark it as studied again.
