If the net vote on a node is larger than two, any proposal on the node - including improvements or new child nodes - will be sent to the pending proposals list for peer evaluation. Other users can upvote or downvote the pending proposal. As soon as a pending proposal receives at least half of the net votes of the edited node, the proposal is approved and implemented on the shared knowledge graph.

In 1Cademy, proposed edits that are not immediately accepted are placed in the pending proposals list. Users can access this list in two ways: through the “Pending List” section of the main sidebar to view pending proposals by community tag, or by clicking the pencil icon in a specific node's footer to view pending proposals for that individual node.

The acceptance threshold is the mechanism that evaluates the net vote on a proposed change to the node. The acceptance threshold works to prevent the most helpful content from being deleted while the least helpful content can easily be revised or removed.

In 1Cademy, the acceptance threshold mitigates misinformation by requiring greater community consensus for changes to highly visible, popular nodes. Proposals on nodes with $$\leq 2$$ net votes (upvotes minus downvotes) are implemented immediately. However, proposals on popular nodes remain pending until they receive at least half of the target node's net votes. This popularity-dependent mechanism prevents users from easily altering established content, protecting hot topics from misinformation while allowing rapid knowledge generation on newer nodes.

The notification menu alerts users to the status of the nodes that they have proposed. If another user upvotes or downvotes a pending proposal or a node on the map, the creator of the node will receive a notification through the notification menu.

The leaderboard tracks users' contributions in their community tag and displays the order of weekly and all-time contributors based on reputation points. A detailed history of individual contributions can be accessed by clicking on each user in the leaderboard.

Notifications will appear here when a bookmarked node that a user has also marked as studied is updated so they can review the changes and mark it as studied again.
