Short Answer

Calculating Marginal Product of Study Time

A student's final grade is determined by their study hours per day. For every hour of study up to and including 12 hours, their grade increases by 8 percentage points. Any study time beyond 12 hours a day provides no additional increase to their grade. If this student increases their study time from 9 to 10 hours, what is the marginal increase in their grade? Subsequently, if they increase their study time from 13 to 14 hours, what is the marginal increase in their grade?
