Rational Decision Making and Study Hours

A student's final grade is determined by their study hours. Each hour of study, up to 12 hours a day, increases their grade by 8 percentage points. Studying beyond 12 hours has no effect on their grade. Assume the student places a monetary value of $10 on each percentage point of their final grade, and the value of one hour of their time is $75. Evaluate whether it is economically rational for this student to study for the 12th hour. Then, evaluate the rationality of studying for the 13th hour. Justify your reasoning for each case by comparing the added benefit to the associated cost.
