Cathartic Effect of Overcoming Fear in Taekwondo Demonstrations
In Taekwondo demonstration teams, members often experience fear and anxiety when assigned difficult skills. However, successfully performing these challenging skills produces a strong cathartic effect. Overcoming the initial fear and succeeding in the demonstration results in a feeling of joy that is proportional to the initial fear experienced.
