In the closed view, you can only see the node title, its open and hide buttons, and a few statistics about the node in its toolbar on the bottom. After you have read a node and want to move to another node on the map it is recommended to close previous nodes, because having many open nodes in the map will make your device perform slower.

Closing a node in 1Cademy

In the open view, you can see all parts of the node, including its title, content, and the toolbar. This node that you're reading its content is open; otherwise, you'd not be able to read this sentence, nor see the icons of the toolbar below this sentence.

By clicking on the icon shown below on the top-right corner of the node you can hide a node on the map. hiding a node means that the node will not be displayed on the map and you have to click on the children list of the parent to reopen that node.

The header at the top right corner of the node has options to change your view of the map, such as:
- Collapsing
- Expanding
- Hiding
- Hiding offsprings
