Co-existence of Generalized anxiety disorder (GAD) and Depression
While both Generalized Anxiety Disorder and Depression are quite difficult to deal with on their own, research shows that up to 80 percent of individuals that have a diagnosis of either GAD or depression will also have a diagnosis for the other disorder. As. a result of this, trans-diagnostic treatments like Acceptance and Commitment Therapy are of special interest for treatment research on these disorders.
