Why is it important to address Generalized Anxiety Disorder (GAD) and Depression together?
Although both GAD and Depression are difficult to deal with by themselves, research shows that comorbidity of GAD and depression are more often associated with more chronic cases, disability days, psychosocial disabilities, greater health costs, higher rates of suicide attempts, as well as generally worse therapeutic outcomes. As a result, it is especially important to address the two together.
