Combined Effect of Personality Traits/Number of Online Courses on OSLQ Scores
When looking at the effect of personality, taking into account the number of online classes participants had taken, significant relationships were not found between these factors and participants' overall OSLQ score. However, there were significant relationships between these factors and sub-scales of the OSLQ. The combined effect of high conscientiousness and greater number of online classes taken was the strongest predictor of goal setting, a facet of SRL strategies examined in the sub-scales of the OSLQ.
