Conditioned Stimulus in Stingray Conditioning

In the classical conditioning of the southern stingrays at Stingray City, the conditioned stimulus is the sound of a boat engine. Originally a neutral stimulus, the sound of the boat engine became a conditioned stimulus over time as the stingrays learned to associate it with receiving food.
