Conditions for Stable Inflation

An economy is said to be in a stable inflationary equilibrium when it experiences a constant, positive rate of price increases over time. Describe the two primary conditions, one related to unemployment and one related to inflation expectations, that must be met for such an equilibrium to exist. For each condition, briefly explain why it is necessary for maintaining stable inflation.
