Daily Transmission Probability of COVID-19 during the Incubation Period and Illness Period in Guangzhou, China
- Overall, assuming a mean incubation period of 5 days and maximum infectious period of 13 days the daily transmission probability during the incubation period was similar to the illness period (OR = 0.61 [95% CI: 0.27-1.38]). However, other combinations of incubation period and maximum infectious period suggests the daily transmission probability is greater during the incubation period.
