Despite their youth, Dapps are already offering many services on blockchain networks including:

- Exchanging money

- Hosting marketplaces 

In Q2 of 2020, Dapps transaction volume had hit 12 billion which was a 4.5 billion increase from that years previous quarter.

Once the drawbacks in scalability, security and user experience are solved, decentralized apps will become more popular.
