Decision on Studying

A student is preparing for an exam and has already studied for 3 hours. They estimate that studying for one additional hour will increase their exam score by 5 points. However, to study for that extra hour, they must give up an activity they value at an equivalent of 3 points on their exam score. From a purely rational perspective, should the student study for the additional hour? Explain your reasoning by comparing the incremental gain and the incremental loss.
