  • Calculating Employment Rent

Natural Experiment

A natural experiment is an empirical research method that analyzes the impact of a condition by comparing groups that are affected differently by an external, random event. These events, such as changes in laws, policies, or weather, create a naturally occurring experimental setup. This approach provides valuable insights, but only if the differing conditions were not a deliberate response to other factors that could also influence the outcome.
