Deliverance from the Prison of the World in Attar's Mokhtar Nameh (Chapter 23, Poem 18)

This concept examines the theme of worldly alienation and the longing for spiritual emancipation in Chapter 23, Poem 18 of Attar's Mokhtar Nameh. The poet characterizes the material world as a prison ('حبس جهان') where he is left bewildered. By seeking total isolation from worldly baggage and attachments ('رخت و بنه'), he hopes to find a breach or deliverance ('خلاص') from this earthly confinement.
