In this study it indicated that 50-80% of patients with Pituitary adenomas will show symptoms and signs of depressive disorder. 

patients with brain tumors might display certain symptoms such as fatigue and headaches which could be easily misdiagnosed as depression. especially since most of the early diagnosis are shown in patients that are in younger age demographic.
