Design ideas from ideation workshops can be voted on to find out which might be the most valuable idea. There are two ways to find the importance of ideas:

- One-Hundred-Dollar Test: The team members get $100 to split among the generated ideas. This forces people to think about each design's value 
- NUF (New, Useful, Feasible): Each idea is rated on a scale of 1-7 for the three attributes: Whether the team members have seen that particular design before, whether the idea is useful and it solves a problem, and how feasible is it for the team to work on and implement the idea

Determine Priorities

Ideation involves determining solutions to user problems that were discovered during the observation phase of the process. Designers should focus on the needs and desires of users in order to best address these points.

There are two ways to determine which findings have the most importance:

- Severity: The meeting leader reads each finding and the attendees vote by a show of hands if it is a high, medium, or low priority, and the rating with the most votes is assigned to that sticky note

- Points: Each person gets a limited number of important points (usually 3). They can assign the points to the items they think need to be addressed. If they think the note is extra important, they can assign multiple points to one.
