Designing an Economic Scenario

Design a hypothetical scenario involving a single individual who makes two distinct economic decisions. In one decision, the individual's actions are best explained by altruism. In the other decision, their actions are best explained by self-interest. Briefly explain why each action reflects the stated preference and how the scenario as a whole illustrates that social preferences can be context-dependent.
