Diminishing Average Product of Labor Evidenced by Tabular Data

Tabulated data from a production function demonstrates the principle of diminishing average product of labor. By calculating the average product at different levels of labor input (for instance, in a dedicated column of a table), it becomes evident that as more farmers are employed, the average output per farmer decreases. For example, calculations show that as the workforce grows from 800 to 1,600 farmers, the average product falls from 630 kg to 486 kg. This numerical evidence from the table supports the law of diminishing returns.
