Discrete vs. Continuous Data
Discrete Data is data that is countable in a finite amount of time an example is the amount of change in your pocket because all of it can be counted in a reasonable amount of time. Continuous data cannot be counted in a finite amount of time. An example is how old you are because you can go from Years -> Months -> Days -> Hours -> ...... and so on and you would never stop counting. Certain methods can turn Continuous Data to Discrete data such as Binning.
