Mindfulness therapy has been found to be beneficial for teachers because a teaching position comes with a lot of stress and responsibilities.  Through these therapies, teachers are able to learn how to improve a teachers' habit of mind which in focuses on their occupational health and well-being.  It also allows them support for creating and sustaining relationships with their students and classroom climates that support student engagement and learning. 

Mindfulness as an educator

Being an educator for a child with special needs can be very stressful.  A teacher needs to be able to teach in a way that helps each child with varying different needs while also maintaining order and a quality education.  Interventions were shown to help with stress and allowed teachers to be more empathetic and aware of what was going on around them.

Coparenting and parenting are extremely similar, however, coparenting has been made into a separate group because there are additional issues that come with coparenting.  A coparent is an additional adult (related or not) that is present in a child's life.  Mindful coparenting focused more around the relationship between each "parent," by allowing them to be more open and less judgmental of the other parents' style.
