Participants stated that they experience moral emotional catharsis that involves courtesy, respect, and a sense of fellowship toward other team players after completing a Taekwondo demonstration contest.
Catharsis experienced by the participants of this study can be seen as the ethical purification of emotions through sports activities. Which is an elevation of moral emotions through courtesy and consideration toward rival teams and respect and a sense of fellowship with competitors
