Embryonic Cleavage
Embryonic cleavage is the stage of embryogenesis immediately following fertilization, characterized by rapid mitotic cell divisions. During this process, the zygote's cytoplasm is partitioned into many smaller cells that eventually arrange themselves into a spherical shape.
