Epilepsy and Mood Disorders
Some epileptics experience mood disorder symptoms constantly, while others experience them just before, during, or after a seizure. The most common mood disorders experienced are depression and dysthymia. Although anxiety is not a mood disorder, it is also commonly experienced alongside epilepsy.
