Estimating Marginal Cost

The marginal cost (MC) can be estimated by calculating the ratio of the change in total cost (ΔCΔC) to the change in the quantity of output (ΔQΔQ). The formula is expressed as: MCΔCΔQMC \approx \frac{ΔC}{ΔQ}.
