Evaluating a Labor Contract Proposal

A landowner proposes a contract to a landless farmer. The farmer can work 10 hours a day on the landowner's plot, which will produce 55 bushels of grain. This level of production is well within the known technical capabilities of the land and the farmer's labor. The proposed contract states that the landowner will receive all 55 bushels of grain, and the farmer will receive zero.

Evaluate this proposed contract. In your evaluation, you must distinguish between its 'technical feasibility' and its 'economic viability' for the farmer. Conclude with a reasoned argument as to why this type of allocation, despite being technically possible, is considered an impossible outcome in economic analysis.
