Evaluating 232^3 and 323^2

When evaluating an exponential expression with a numerical base, the base is multiplied by itself the number of times indicated by the exponent. For example, to evaluate 232^3, the base 22 is multiplied by itself three times (2222 \cdot 2 \cdot 2) to give 88. Similarly, evaluating 323^2 involves multiplying the base 33 by itself two times (333 \cdot 3) to yield 99. This demonstrates how exponential notation is expanded to calculate a final numerical value.
