Evaluating Production Models

A farm manager is modeling the relationship between the number of workers hired (X) and the total tons of crops harvested (Y). All other factors, such as land area and equipment, are fixed. The manager is considering two possible mathematical models:

Model A: Y = 15X Model B: Y = 70 * sqrt(X)

Critique both models. Which model is more likely to represent a realistic production scenario as the number of workers becomes very large? Justify your choice by explaining the underlying assumptions each model makes about the contribution of each additional worker.
