Case Study

Evaluating Technological Upgrades

A manufacturing plant is considering upgrading its production line. The current technology (Tech Alpha) requires 12 units of energy and 3 hours of labor to produce a batch of goods. The proposed new technology (Tech Beta) requires 8 units of energy and 4 hours of labor for the same batch. A consultant creates a graph with 'units of energy' on the vertical axis and 'hours of labor' on the horizontal axis to compare them.
