Evaluating Variable Expressions with Fractions

To evaluate a variable expression that involves fractions, the procedure is the same as evaluating an expression with integers: substitute the given fractional value for each variable in the expression, and then simplify the result according to the order of operations. This process directly applies the rules for fraction arithmetic, such as simplifying exponents, multiplying fractions, and dividing out common factors, to find the final numerical value.
