Evidence of Parent/Child node contributing to ease of navigation from responses on survey

Question To what extent did you find it helpful to be able to navigate through the parent/child links in the hierarchically structured map?

Relevant Answer(s) "It is looking at the trickling of information. I could use the search tool, find a concept, then work backwards or forwards to see how it was derived or where it leads to"

"That's the only way to navigate effectively."

Question Throughout the semester, we had presented either by going through the hierarchical topics or by presenting specific nodes students had prepared to present. Which method did you think was more effective for your learning and why?

Relevant Answer(s) "Hierarchical topics helped understand the flow of information better - especially towards the end of the semester."

Question Imagine you want to review one of the concepts that you learned, to what extent would you prefer to review it on our collaborative maps in comparison to conventional course textbooks/lecture notes?

Relevant Answer(s) "One thing I really love about the map is that everything is concise. I will get a very simple explanation, which is hard to find for machine learning topics, and can go deeper if I choose to."
