Example of a Dependent Variable: Classroom Learning Measurement

In an experiment investigating how technology use in the classroom affects student learning, the dependent variable is the learning exhibited by the participants (for example, their scores on an algebra test administered at the end of the study) because this is the factor measured by the researcher to determine the impact of the learning method.
