Example of Detecting Interactions in Group Research

A significant strength of group research designs is their ability to efficiently detect interactions between treatments and participant characteristics. For example, a treatment might be highly effective for individuals with a high motivation to change but completely ineffective for those with a low motivation to change. A group research design can identify these complex interactive effects more effectively than a single-subject design.
