Example of Evaluating Experimental Effectiveness

To illustrate how statistical analysis evaluates effectiveness, consider an experiment on a nutritional supplement. If the group receiving the supplement shows the same results as a control group taking a placebo pill, the statistical analysis would conclude that the supplement is ineffective because no meaningful difference was found.
