Price-Taking Behavior of a Small Bakery

A small bakery that produces baguettes identical to those from many other local bakeries illustrates price-taking behavior. If the established market price for a baguette is €2.35, the bakery cannot charge more because customers would simply purchase from a competitor. At this price, however, the bakery can sell its entire production due to sufficient consumer demand.
