Living Will

A legal document that is used to appoint a specific person to make medical/health care decisions on behalf of another person if they are unable to do so themsleves. Could be included in a living will or advance directives.

Health Care Proxy

A legal order from a person stating that they do not wish for 
a cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) administration or steps to revive or resuscitate them if they stop breathing or their heart stops beating. It could be included in a living will or advance directive.
