In the past, collective intelligence has been used as a problem-solving method for issues such as conflict between nations, poor tribal governance methods in Native American communities, and antibiotic resistance as a barrier to high quality of life. In the present study, education stakeholders in Europe came to a deeper and collective understanding of the obstacles they face in teaching 12-19 year olds about the ocean, and then proposed a number of solutions.
