Explaining the Shape of an Indifference Curve

A consumer's preferences for two goods, apples and bananas, are represented by a typical indifference curve that is downward-sloping and bowed inward toward the origin. Consider two points on this curve: Point A, where the consumer has many apples and few bananas, and Point B, where the consumer has few apples and many bananas. At which point would the consumer be willing to give up more apples to get one additional banana? Explain why, relating your answer to the 'bowed inward' shape of the curve.
