Factor as a Noun and a Verb

In mathematics, the term "factor" is utilized as both a noun and a verb. As a noun, it refers to a number or expression that divides another quantity evenly; for example, one might state that 77 is a factor of 1414. As a verb, it describes the action of breaking down an expression by extracting shared components, such as the instruction to factor 33 from the binomial 3a+33a + 3.
