Formal Clinical Interview Instrument for Sexual Disorders
- Do you have the inability to delay ejaculation for more than one minute after sexual arousal or contact?
- Are you of male gender aged 18 to 70 years, and have concern over how rapidly ejaculation occurs?
- Do symptoms occur in partnered activity, alone, or both?
- Have you had lifelong symptoms? If not, when did you acquired symptoms?
- Do symptoms occur at almost all or all sexual encounters?
- Do you experience anxiety or depression?
- Do you have someone in your immediate family whom you know has erectile disorders?
- Are your erectile symptoms causing you significant distress?
- Please list any non-sexual mental distress, relationship distress or other significant stressors in your life.
- Are you taking any substances or medications or have other medical conditions which you suspect may be interfering with your sexual functions? These questions are very basic and will give us an idea of the symptoms, onset, context, and main concerns for our patient.
