Four Levels of Electrical Service Call Triage

Electrical dispatch can sort incoming requests into four urgency levels before a technician is assigned. P1 is reserved for immediate life-safety hazards, such as an active electrical fire risk or exposed energized parts. P2 is for urgent problems that should be handled the same day, such as a major outage affecting a business's operations. P3 covers routine repairs or installations that fit a standard appointment window. P4 is for planned work that can be scheduled well in advance, such as upgrades or nonurgent projects. Every new call should be placed into one of these levels before scheduling begins.
