Framing Research Findings

While this study highlights the genuine challenges faced by parents of children with disabilities, these findings should not be interpreted as evidence that children with disabilities are burdens or possess less inherent value. Rather, the immense psychological distress experienced by these families reflect more heavily the systemic inadequacies in our social, educational, and healthcare structures. The appropriate response is not to view disability demeaningly, but to recognize these results as a call to action for improving support systems, accessibility, and resources for all children and their families.
